Below 15% is considered remission, he was at 12%, But since below 5% is even better & that is what the docs are shooting for, we want to make it happen to show them that this is how we roll!!! ShareI just remembered this and thought it was worth sharing. We told Andrew that someone from transplant would be in to talk to him soon to explain what will happen and such. He told us “They can tell me what ever they like. If they say things I don’t like I will reject their reality and replace it with my own!” He is ALL about creating his own reality and not buying into anyone elses! Words to live by! We’ve ALWAYS known this but was waiting for this dimension to catch up to the truth! ShareAndrew is doing great as usual. I like that, great as usual. His appetite is down which is expected. He has a bit more nausea but not bad, they give him an extra drug for it so he is able to eat a bit at least. He’s feeling great and in high spirits! So you know I’m loving that! It gets easier each time! His numbers are fab! His platelets are 126,000!! Can I hear a woot woot!! Go on say it, I can hear you!! His hemoglobin is at 97,000 and his ANC# was an astonishing 1611!! ShareAs you know I was home today. I was up for well over 24 hrs. so you know I’m a little sleep deprived right now. I couldn’t sleep when I got home, I was afriad I would get into a deep sleep and not get up so I just rested in my bed, ahhhhhhh with Merlin beside. Me and my puppy we just hanging together the few hrs. I had home between errands. So by me leaving that means the boys were left alone once again with their own devices. (am I even sayin that right?) ShareWell, Andrew had yet another great day! He didn’t get the chemo till after 9p.m. tonight!! It was suppose to be at 5p.m. but they weren’t done “cooking” it in the lab. All I could imagine was a Hogwart’s kitchen and the techs hovering over the cauldren making the chemo. As I was typing it it sounded more like a meth lab!!
