Ya know, I no sooner get everything set for our comedy gig, blurbs, press release, bios, then our show takes a turn in a new direction and I have to start all over again! I’m not really complaining, :-) I am excited about the new turn in our show. But geeeeez this press release stuff is doin my head in!
Here’s some info to work with…
A Musical Evening With PureHeart (This is the title to date)
Join Martin and Connie Jordan for a beautiful, intimate, evening of healing the loss of a loved one through music, humor, love, laughter and inspirational stories from their teenage Avatar son, Andrew aka PureHeart, the name given to him when he crossed, on the Other Side. Martin and Connie loss the physical presence of their 16yo son Andrew on Oct 22,2007 after a leukemia diagnosis in July 2007. Martin being a professional medium has never lost contact with their son and has received songs and messages from PureHeart to share with those that have gone through a physical loss of a loved one themselves. Even if you haven’t lost a loved one, you will still feel uplifted and inspired by the beautiful songs and stories. (i know it can be worded better than this)

Thanks Leah for a great job!! I’ve added another blurb, it’s in bold. Not sure if it is needed but this show isn’t just for those who have lost someone, it just touched your heart no matter who you are.
Soooo when does Carol want us up? :-) If she does, I will let several people at ACH know so they can spread the word. We should have the PureHeart Unplugged cd in our grubby lil mits in about 2 weeks. Hoping to get the cd to the replicator next week sometime. Keeping fingers and eyes crossed. :-D

Oooo….the cd will be reading in approx 2 weeks? This is exciting!
Marts and I are working on the cd ALL this weekend. We want to be able to book shows and we need the cd ready in order to do it. The unplugged version is what people will hear at the show anyway so why not start with that? Whenever Martin has done a few of the songs at the Rover, he got rave reviews, people wanting the cd. I asked Elatia about it and she agreed that an “unplugged” version is a great idea to start with. I can’t wait for for our producer to get his life together if I am going to stay here. I need to do something NOW!!!! I need a reason to stay here NOW!! AND sitting around here waiting for everyone else to be ready isn’t good enough for me! I’ve spent OVER a year waiting…and I AM DONE waiting! I don’t need a reason to leave this dimension, I need a reason to STAY! Andrew loved it here and he left. So why should I stay?? I told Andrew I would stay if I had a good reason, if I can’t do that reason…..I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOO OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This cd & show right now is my reason for staying, even if only 2 people pre-ordered it, I am willing to stay. Not asking a lot here. Just show me why the hell I should stay on this god forsaken dimension. I am busting my ass to see why. If I don’t see why sometime during this year, I am looking for my way out! I am sooooo DONE! I have had ENOUGH!! I am so tired of feeling beat up!
Connie – Give me a few dates to work with, then I can see what Carole has on the calendar. Tell me if there’s a minimum you’ll come for, etc.
As for your bolded blurb, I’d word it: Even those who haven’t lost a loved one will be uplifted and inspired by the beautiful songs and stories.
How many have pre-ordered the CD? I know Dana has, and I have. So are we the two? Don’t worry, there will be many more. Do you have a blurb on the CD too? Leah, can you help write one please? I will put that blurb up on my blogs and my website.
Swati – you can probably find the best info on Martin’s blog or Connie’s earlier blogs. I’m good with editing, but you’ll want this info from the horse’s mouth, so to speak. :)
