THE VIEW AND PICKLES

I did something I NEVER do on a Monday morning…or any morning for that matter! I never bolt out of bed and get right on the treadmill! Before breakfast? NEVER!  But I felt the urge to do it this morning so I just go with it. Yea, it’s weigh in day at WW but it’s never made me want to get on the treadmill before a meeting any other time, even with the few indiscretions I may have had throughout the week. I don’t know what came over me. Mondays are usually my one day off from exercising because I usually spend the day with Elatia and we go out and about.

I noticed that The View was about to come on and I felt a rush to get my sneakers on so I can stare at that show and see what the girls might be arguing about this week, while on the road to no where. I couldn’t figure out why I felt this urge to hurry and get on the treadmill so I don’t miss the beginning of the View. WHAT? What’s the matter with me? The View is not a show I really tune into. Elizabeth pisses me off too much, and since I can’t pimp slap her, I don’t watch it. YET here I was tuning into it to do a mile and a half on my road to know where before my WW meeting.

So I blindly stare at the tv as the girls talk a lot about nothing, you know, the usual, but then something weird happens. Whoopy Goldberg is freaking out because a light bulb on the manora behind her goes on for a bit, then goes off. It’s not flickering, but stays on for a few minutes then it goes off for a few. I originally thought she was talking about that it was time to turn another light on the manora, but it wasn’t. She was freakin out how the light would go on and then just go off. She then says “Hey! Who ever it is doing that, we’re trying to work here!”

Hmmmm wait a minute I thought, I have a fairy light that goes on all by itself! That’s when it all started to fall into place for me as to why I felt a strong urge to get up and get on the treadmill and turn on The View. When I started to realize what was going on I got “that feeling” I get when Andrew is involved. I could feel his laughter. Also like he was saying, “Pretty impressive huh Mommy?” :-D

Now whenever Andrew sends me a sign like that, you know, like when I question it’s validity, he usually backs it up with another sign. When I got back from my WW meeting, I was telling Elatia what had happened before the meeting. Next thing you know Wesley comes in with a comic page from the newspaper. He wants me to read the Pickles cartoon. It’s an old couple where the wife wants to have some witty banter. The husband isn’t getting what that means. She explains “like the clever conversation you see on tv.” The husband says to her to give him a moment. Then he says… “I LIKE CHEESE!” ROFLMAO! His wife sez “Let’s see what’s on tv.” Well, if that ain’t a sign to back up the first one, I don’t know what is!

BTW he turned on the fairy this morning too.
IT’S ALL GOOD!

Alright!! That was a really cool story! :-D :-D :-D I wish he would do that for some light in my house too. If he wants, I’ll go get a fairy light! :-D But seriously, to have that happen is soooo comforting.
