MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I am going to be a Grammy in Feb 2011! We half kidded with Elatia that we were going on this Mediterranean cruise as 4 and better be coming back as 5! Little did we know that we actually went as 5! There is so much to tell but I think I will be sharing all of this journey in a new blog on blog spot.com called In The Grammy-hood.
The reason I am posting here is because I have an Andrew sign. He knows I am very anxious about things going well for Elatia with this baby after everything she has been through. Yes, I am a little scared of miscarriage, having the rug ripped out from under me before with everything we went through with Andrew, I’m a little nervous about this baby. I am all too aware of the things that can go wrong after spending 4 months at All Children’s Hospital.
Well, I think Andrew sent me a sign tonight at work. I had a table of 8 and they were celebrating an elderly woman’s b-day. As we sang Happy Birthday to her, I let them fill in her name and it was “Grammy,” the name I picked for myself years ago, if I was ever lucky enough to be a grandmother. It didn’t dawn on me until just a few minutes ago that it was a sign for me as I was thinking about Elatia’s pregnancy. I was shown that scene at work along with that familiar feeling I get when I feel Andrew sending me a sign.
This pregnancy has given us a new lease on life!
