I finalized 2 shows today! WoO HoO! We have our 2 hour comedy/mediumship show on Sat Sept 20th, 7-9pm, in Sarasota, FL at The Shrine of The Master. If you are interested in going you have to contact them at 941-953-6620. Tickets are $20
The 2nd show I finalized is at the Aloha Performance Theater in Kona Hawaii!! We’ll be there performing Monday, Nov 3rd, 7-9pm. We are renting the theater and are responsible for EVERYTHING! Getting butts in seats, ticket sales, ushers, box office etc! OMG! But we can’t pass this opportunity up either. I mean really, what do we have to lose? Some money? Our dignity? Nothing can beat what we’ve already lost. One thing Martin and I don’t have now, is fear of taking any risks.

With having an Avatar son on the Other Side, filling seats shouldn’t be a problem. Andrew can really start strutting his stuff now and help us with sell out this gig! I wanna see just how much more he can do from the Other Side! People were always saying “He can do more on the Other Side.” Yea, well, I wanna start seeing it! Mama Gene is still not sold! Right now neither am I. We want him back here!
At least we’ll have a few weeks in So-Cal and Hawaii. A much needed get away! Yee haw!

I have been “pounding the pavement” so to speak trying to book a show in So-Cal contacting places with e-mails. No luck. I’ve asked Martin if he will contact Brandon at Awakenings to see if we can work together and schedule something while we are out there Leila.
I’ve also contacted the Learning Annex. Back in 2002 Martin was booked at 5 of them, but the classes didn’t fill up so I wasn’t willing to fly out. Now we know more people and a comedy show is easier to book.
On the up side I will probably get a few open mic gigs with my comedy contacts. I’m hoping to get more than just 6-10 mins. tho we shall see.
