THINGS LOOKING UP!

Long may it reign! My friend, Lorett, gave me a lead for a Sedona, AZ place that holds events all of the time. I called them, left a message. They called me back and Debra was a breath of fresh air to talk to! She said it sounds like our show is a perfect fit for their place. Debra totally got what we are about! Now that is what I’m talking about! *doing extreme happy dance* *Dunno exactly what that is but I’m doing it!* She is looking forward to seeing it. Big names speak there like Doreen Virtue, Lisa Williams and Michael Beckwith from The Secret.

I went ahead and booked a show for Oct 18th and on the 19th Martin will be doing readings in their Peace Garden gazebo outside. When Martin saw that gazebo he got excited. It’s so beautiful! The entire place is 11,700 sq ft in total. We are taking the big room that holds 250!! We have to rent the space but it is so reasonable and they do so much to help advertise your event, it’s wonderful!

From there we figured we would just drive to Laguna Beach, which means we won’t be home for Andrew’s one year anniversary of his ascension. I’m thinking he wants us to share that ceremony with Tammy the Tall and her son, Andrew’s friend, Daniel. We spent 2 weeks with them just before he was diagnosed last year. Daniel was another great friend to Andrew. Daniel is in the slide show on the home page from our trip out last year. This has been very hard on Daniel and maybe that is why we need to be there for the 1st anniversary. Andrew’s other friends have been apart of the other 1st ceremonies. Andrew loves Laguna Beach, so it’s fitting for us to be there for this.

I’ve also contacted a place we did our show at last year in Palm Desert, CA. We all had such a great time there too! Tammy the Tall got us kick ass rooms, shear luxury it was. Her 16yo daughter, Cassey, was there and her and Andrew hit it off, Andrew left an impression on Cassey. The 3 kids had a blast together. Anyhow, Richard who owns Angel and Nature Expressions with his wife Fran, was excited about our show last year and wanted to have us back at a bigger venue. So hopefully they still do. Keeping fingers and eyes crossed!

I have to cancel the Hawaii theater show. I am totally ok with that. It’s just too stressful and I don’t need anymore of that! My stress meter needs a break. I can’t pull it together by myself so I am letting that go and it appears other opps are coming in instead.

We are going to be on a local a.m. radio show on August 27th from 3-4p.m. EST It’s 1220 a.m. WSRQ with Cliff Roles. That was the lead I got from the Women with Moxie network meeting last week. Cool huh? We can promote our local Sept 20th show, our Sept 7th Angel workshop and another local show in the beginning of Oct. I contacted him and he said that we are NOT unknown to him. I had a bit of a famous moment with that! Cliff was a promoter in Germany for Bon Jovi, Kiss, Elton John, Def Lepard, etc. A good guy to know and be known by.

I can’t even be depressed right! I still work on getting us gigs and pimping ourselves out there. Once a pimp, always a pimp I guess. :-) Look what I’ve done while I wasn’t on here. I don’t over look any opportunity no matter how I am feeling. Don’t get me wrong, if I could lay in bed all day and not get sore, I would! But I can’t so I don’t. There is definitely a Higher Force driving my sorry ass forward here! It won’t let me collapse, or go catatonic or nothing good like that. Wot up wid dat? Damn my Higher Self! Oh well….
