Damn Connie! You go from ‘nothing’ to having a very IMPRESSIVE schedule! Whooo hooo! I’m so happy for you!
We’re hoping to get a few more dates today. We have the east coast of FL that still has to get back to us. Martin and I have been hitting the phones hard!
Hey! It’s paying off! I’m sorry you’re not feeling well today. I don’t know about where you are, but up here it’s cloudy, grey and rainy – and getting chilly! Good day to curl up in bed with a book and a cup of hot chocolate. Oh, well – I’ll settle for curling up with the computer and a cup of coffee with agave nectar. It’s the little things! LOL (more hiney songs in my reserve, just to let you know… OMG… LOL!!!)
And now anyone who didn’t know you just a few days back will not believe that you were once upon a time having trouble with getting bookings! Look at all those dates!!! And one of them is already almost sold out!!! Way to go team Jordan!!
I knew I had to get on because I could feel a hiney song coming on Leah and I don’t want to waste them. ;-) It’s cloudy and cold here. I’m feeling a little better. Just pumping up on my herbs and resting so it doesn’t turn into something more. I need to get on the treadmill tho, I’ll walk slow.
We are finding the healing concert an easier sell. Plus Martin and I are actually working on this together. Before it was just me. I look up the venues and research them, that in itself is quite a job. I go through their website and look for the right words to make sure they are open minded. I write all the info down then take it to Martin and we make a list of who to call every day. Then Martin makes the call while I sit there and take notes. We need 2 of us to remember what was said. Now we have new places we are contacting, follow up calls to people we sent info to and making sure the booked venues have what they asked for. It’s getting quite busy for us now. We may need someone soon to help as we get busier with gigs. WOoT WoOt!!!
The Zephryhills gig is really helpin us! They have someone in the media who wants to help promote ALL our Fla shows!! The Chamber there wants posters of our gig to put out & about town. They want us back once a month for either a workshop, concert, or comedy show.
See? Team Jordan will be a reality soon!
