I have had waaaaaaaay too much time to think up here in the frozen tundra. Waaaaaay too much time! That ain’t good people! I am using it mostly for evil and not good! Meaning I think and miss Andrew waaaaaay too much!
BUT I did actually get an idea. Because I have sooooo much time to think without too many distractions like tv, computers, radio and stuff, I got to thinking about Andrew’s birthday. It’s not until May, but as I’ve said, I’ve got waaaaaay too much time on my hands!
I got to thinking about the gift Roby, my mother’s friend, got in Andrew’s honor. She had 2 trees planted in Yellow Stone Park in his name. I was thinking about having a birthday party for Andrew, cake and all, then planting an oak tree in our front yard in a ceremonious way. Then I thought about taking it further and letting anyone who would like to honor Andrew to contact one of these tree planting places and have a tree planted in Andrew’s name.
Andrew is an environmentalist and loves Earth. I think that is why he is so drawn to John Denver. He loves everything John stood for. What better way to honor Andrew and what he believed in than having a tree planted in his name!
My goal is to have a crap load of trees planted in Andrew’s name! Are you with me? Wouldn’t be cool if we could get a whole bunch of trees planted in his honor?? It’s the best gift we could give him now!
I’m going to find out what places do it, pick one & then have people who want to participate do it on his actual birthday, May 12th. Then next year we pick a different place maybe. Then some day there will be thousands of trees planted in Andrew’s name! What a beautiful tribute to Andrew and who he is!

I think that is a GREAT idea & it is rather funny since the other day I was wondering where I put the certificate that says Cassie has a tree planted in her name when she was born. My Mom did it…either when she was born or on one of her first 3 birthday’s…I think I need to check the registry on that…wouldn’t that be cool if I could plant one for Andrew next to hers??…Life & Ascension…imagine the power axis there!!!!

Great info Dana! I think maybe the first one Plant it 2020 might be the first one to use since it was started by John Denver himself! I like the tree greetings as well. May do that for his b-day next year. I will look into these further and see which one we will use first. THANKS!
