That’s right! We’re looking to not only be in the Guiness Book of records but also Derry History! We signed up to be part of the their 10,001 Santa gathering on Sunday!! Liverpool have the record so far with 7,000 Santas gathered in one place this year. We’re out to kick some English ass! LOL, no offence Anna & Sandra! Our Santa numbers are 8,361, 2 and 3! We paid our £10 and got our Santa suits already! Beards and all! We are ready to roll!! The only thing stopping us is our tattoos! We are suppose to get them on Sunday. Hopefully Michael can do them after.

Tatoos come first of course. But I’m really hoping we can do the Santa gathering. I saw the signs for it around town and just figured it was for guys. When we were in the mall I saw the wee stand for it and went over to inquire. That’s when I found out it was for everyone! Children and all! Well how can I pass that one up! Get in a costume and walk around and break records?? Right up my alley! Over 10,000 Santas gathered in one area?? AND be in the Guiness Book of World records?? Helllooooo! Always wanted to be in that! Some of my nieces and nephews are doing it too! It’s a family affair!
It’s all for charity as well. Monies go to the Foyle Hospice who took care of my father in law when he was ill, a cancer society and u know we want to help that, & Children Under Fire for kids caught up in the “troubles” here I guess, and I forget the other one. So even if we don’t get to go, at least we donated to worthy causes close to our hearts. But I really want to go! I’m wearing my suit into town for my tatoo reagardless!! How cool would that be to be part of a town’s history??!! Over 10,000 Santas on the Derry City walls!! I know Andrew will make it happen if it is meant to be. One thing his ascension has taught me is how to surrender! I don’t sweat any stuff now! Don’t care! What’s the worst that can happen to me?? I could die?? Big deal! Like I care right now!
In case you are wondering, yes, we did have the ceremony at Aunt Julie’s and we went to New Grange today. BUT! You will have to wait till I have the time to tell you about it properly. I have to make sure I suck you in like I always do! :-D Aren’t you glad I have no life back in Florida and I have all this time to write?? I am pretty busy here in Ireland with family and don’t have the time to write like I do back home. It’s been a great distraction for me. I don’t have all this time to think about what I am missing but yet get to talk about all the great and funny times with Andrew! I’m not all caught up in the grief. But make no mistake, I still have my moments where I do remember he’s not here physically. I hardly saw Andrew when we would come here anyway, he had to many people to see. We’d run into him up the town with his mates going to the cinema then going to surprise his Granny in the pub! So it just seems like he’s hanging out at Julie’s with his friends and cousins. Then it hits me that he is not….physically. Yea, there’s really no hiding from it, but having a lot of family around helps.
Tomorrow it’s up the town in Belfast for a bit of a juke around there and a ride on the ferris wheel a.k.a. “The Eye Of Belfast” beside city hall and then our cousin Chrissy’s b-day party tomorrow night then back to Derry Sat. for Martin’s psychic party in Donegal, then back to Belfast Sunday evening because Elatia leaves Monday morning. *sad face*
So until I can get on the computer again…..

Not sure who thought of theSanta thing Sue. Elatia’s friend in Vegas said he took part in it when they did it in Vegas. I’ve never heard of it before either.

Post pictures of you guys in your Santa costumes, and of course pictures of your tattoos. After I read it was the charmed symbol, of course I had to google it to see what it looked like. I’m too curious a person to let anything like that go :p.

We are coming back on Dec. 16th Swati. Martin will have all the info on the 17th or 18th for the class. We haven’t gotten anything from cafe press yet, was too busy setting it up but will have to get some of our stuff on it soon.

Well Swati, the tattoo is a bit different than the Charmed symbol, it is very celtic now. But I guess you have an idea.
