I don’t mind shopping on my own so much anymore. It’s still me and Andrew time. He sends me songs the whole time out. Its especially nice now being able to drive with the windows down in the cooler weather and always the perfect song coming on.
Tuesday Andrew really let me know he was with me. Where ever I went people were so nice to me saying Hi and asking if I needed any help. A young man at the grocery store helped me find Andrew and Elatia’s fav flaky dinner rolls when I couldn’t find them. I found a parking spot right up front at the busy grocery store. AND it was easy getting out of there too! When I went to Whole Foods I was wondering if a small cart would be available and if I could easily get it. As soon as I walk in, there was one right in front me as if it was pulled out and waiting just for me. ;-) As I left Whole Foods, I went for the door that wasn’t electric and as I went to open it, a nice man was right there to help me with the door. It was then when I started putting the pieces together as to why my day was going so smoothly. He’s a good son!

I guess maybe I should ask Andrew to go shopping with me! Buncha crazy-ass people out there today!!! Glad they lined up to be nice to you!

He is very good to you….I was out a few days ago and have been scared to go out again. Have to after my shower in a bit. Ugh. Wonder if I have a connection where Andrew hangs to help it not be som painful and scary. We shall see.
Hmmm maybe if you take a deep breath and connect with Andrew and think how easy your trip out is going to be, enjoy the time in the car listening to music then maybe it will be.
That is what I did before I went out. As Karen can attest to, the snow birds are back and traffic here has increased considerably. So I decided I was just going to relax when I was out, not let the “too slow and too old to be driving headless drivers” bother me and enjoy the nice weather and music. It went smoother than I could imagine! I just consciously set it up before I left that I would be relaxed and not get upset by any crazy ass headless drivers. I reminded myself that I didn’t have to be anywhere else other than where I was.

Don’t you just love it when the ones you love on the other side lay things out for you so beautifully? Makes me feel really loved, cherished and cared for when that happens with me. And you have your very own son there setting things right for you! :-D
