FAERIE NICE!

I have this beautiful handmade faerie, named Sidhe, pronounced She, that I bought at the Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival back in 2002 after an ATP(r) reunion. She is about 3 ft tall. Sidhe is just stunning with her long blond real hair, and her purple and green vintage Stevie Nicks type dress.

When we had our store she sat in an antique high chair in the front window. When kids came in they would talk to her. I honestly think they could hear her. They were always very respectful to her. They would stroke her arm as they talked to her. It was cool to watch.

Now she sits in the same antique high chair by my back door to the pool/frog pond area. Sidhe is right up against the wall beside the french doors. Friday we noticed that her chair was away from the wall and turned towards the back room, Elatia’s old room. I thought maybe Daniel might have done it when he grabbed his backpack for school. He kept it on the chair beside Sidhe. Never got to ask him if he might have done it.

Martin put her back last night before we went to bed and says to Andrew, “I’m getting tired of putting her back.” Figuring this was not going to be the last time. ;-) Then Andrew says to him, “Not as tired as I am moving it out Daddy!” :-D

Then tonight right before we go into Andrew’s room for me to work on my astral travel exercises to meet up with Andrew, Martin came inside from the pool area and Sidhe was once again away from the wall facing the back room! As we notice this, Cold Play’s Viva La Vida came on the music channel. I just turned that channel on! I hardly ever do that at night, just during the day usually. We just started laughing because it is just so Andrew! Its his calling card to do something, then follow it up with a sign and Viva La Vida is a definite sign! It was bittersweet because I could just see him standing there laughing but missing his physical presence tremendously as well. But…

That’s cool that he plays with you guys like he does. Any significance to the way he faces her?

I have been feeling so “disconnected” today. Tough financial stuff, hormones, hating Florida, marriage bumps, etc. It felt good to read the blog and see the words IT’S ALL GOOD…thanks.

You are so very welcome! Thank you for coming here! YOU are my new stalker!!! :-D

Totally get the hating FL thing, financial thing, hormone thing which leads to the hating FL thing, and I have the grief thing. BUT Andrew does what he can to lift my spirits. I work on focusing on what is going right in my life, like my relationship with Martin. I am so grateful for that! During all this crap, that is the one thing that has been a constant. All of this has brought us closer together, when very easily, like it has for so many, tore them apart. And as corny as it use to sound, we have our health. I am grateful everyday for that. Having had hospitals and dr’s controlling our lives for 4 months, I love the freedom we have now. Although I’d take the hospital and dr’s any day if I could have Andrew here.

As for Sidhe, not sure why she was facing the back room, maybe just because we’d really notice that she had been moved with her facing another direction.

    ((((HUGS)))) to you!

So good to see you tonight. I just wish I could’ve been hanging out instead of about to spend another dismal night at the restaurant.

YOU help me keep my spirits up with your blog…so I am happy to stalk! Also happy that your young man looks after you, even from where he is now. Such a blessed Pretty Mama!!

    And ((hugs)) back!!

Yeah, that was pretty amazing! Once in a lifetime opportunity that was. I must’ve been one of the original minute men back in colonial times, cause I ready ready in minutes and out the door and it was late!
