I guess this morning Andrew was reminding me to post about his b-day. I wanted to make sure it didn’t get lost is why I was going to wait. But Andrew had other plans, as he usually does.
Check this out. Martin had to down load Netscape for his web designing. SO he does that and notices in the book mark is Andrew’s folder for “my new computer” In it was ALL the computer parts he wanted. He has the mother board and the casing. Don’t remember what else. Andrew told Martin this morning that he found out that it was Arch Angel Metatron who was helping him build his computer! Andrew found this out after he ascended. AA Metatron is the one to call on if you are having computer problems. Who knew?
But heres the interesting part. Like having an AA helping you build a computer isn’t interesting enough! LOL Normally when down loading like that it pulls your favorites and book marks into the new browser. Well, Andrew’s folder wasn’t in Firefox! It just showed up in Netscape! Soooo we took it as a “subtle” hint to start talking about his birthday. He loves his birthdays! He would start counting it down again on May 13th! LOL It’s not like he got extravagant b-days, he just loved them.
Monday May 12th is the day. We are having a party and a tree planting ceremony in our front yard. For those who would like to participate in honoring Andrew you can do one of 2 things or both ;-) :
1. Go to Plantit2020.org John Denver’s foundation (Thank you Dana for finding this!) and have a tree planted in Andrew’s name. They have where you can just donate one dollar or you can send an occasion e-card.
2. OR you can get a Best Buy gift card so we can finish his computer that he started. I know Wesley is voting for that one because then there will be a computer in Andrew’s room again. :-D
We have just under 2 weeks but I guess he wanted to get this party started!

w00t! I’m going the ‘tree’ route!
We became an official Eden Alternative facility and had a dedication ceremony last Friday. It was my idea to have it correspond to Earth Day and/or Arbor Day. So we gave out little everygreen seedlings! Mine is planted and on the shelf above my kitchen sink! How cool is that?
My hubby’s b-day is on May 1! Here’s to May birthdays!

I’d Love to be there for the Party, unfortunately Monday’s don’t work well for transportation becuase we are all sharing one car now… BUT I will be there the Saturday before!
I had written here before…I have planted this yellow rose bush in his name in my front yard (because of your yellow rose incident, I always associate him with Yellow Roses). And on his birthday I will plant another tree through the link you posted. :-)

I just picked up the beautiful tree for Andrew.
It’s a Hydrangea “PEE GEE” and it is about 5 1/2 feet tall-good size- it will grow 15-20 feet with white flowers from spring to fall. Anyway, I was going to plant it in my front yard but, there is direct sun all day and it needs part shade. So, I will plant it in the backyard. We haven’t done any landscaping back there yet. This will be the first plantingin the back . I have a 4 foot concrete Angel “Constance” that I will have placed under the tree and I will plant lavender in a circle around them. I also have a Noah’s Arc bench, that I will incorporate and have a nice meditation area. I can’t promise I will plant it on May 12th, it may need to be done prior, it depends on when I have “muscle” available but, will definitely do a ceremony on his Birthday.

Well, Connie one of my Angels is Constance and 357 is the number that goes with her. That is cool and I never thought of your name being Constance, hmmm. I’ll take a picture and email it to you guys. The bench is small- child size- I bought it last year for my future grandson.I’m so glad Andrew is Happy and it makes me Happy too.
