Fish Tales

Share  It didn’t take long for the magick to really kick up when Martin got back home from N Ireland. Like he arrived December 2nd and this incident happened the next night. I guess the Elementals were welcoming home one of their own. Martin and I had doors and windows open, the wind blew the back door semi closed. It’s been raining but that had subsided, so I open the door and walk back in and I hear a splash in my pool like a fish was jumping, like a decent size fish, but the water is still. Martin hears … Continue reading

Suicide And The Other Side: A Vested Interest

Share So many people have misconceptions about what happens to the person who commits suicide. Many religions teach that these people go straight to hell, umm WRONG! Hard to go to a place that doesn’t exist. Psychic/medium, HayHouse author, and Montel Williams’ fav psychic, Sylvia Brown said that these souls have to come right back to Earth, do not pass go. Ummmm WRONG again! Sorry Sylvia, but you were wrong on that one too. When Martin and I have done our mediumship events, we have had a good number of suicides come through, which would be hard to do if … Continue reading

Paying It Forward

Share Recently I got to be part of an unexpected random act of kindness of paying it forward, and at a gas station no less! It was right before Christmas when I stopped to get gas at a Sunoco. While I was getting ready to pump my gas, a woman with a white pick up truck, in a white t-shirt, khakis to the calf, very short hair,  a buzz cut, a butch looking Rosie O’Donnell if you will, starts walking over to me. Of course when someone does that to me, I automatically go into Fort Lauderdale mode and think … Continue reading

My Life With A Medium

Share   You would think that my husband being a singer/songwriter was enough for me to deal with as far as being a chick magnet, but NOPE! Apparently that wasn’t enough. Lucky me huh? UGH! He is also a medium, an intuitive life coach a hypnotherapist, and not hard on the eyes, so that makes him the tri-fecta, wait, no, or is it the quinfecta of chick magnets? BTW I was shocked that quinfecta didn’t even come up as misspelled, so it’s actually a word! Who knew? Not me. SO, that makes him the quinfecta of chick magnets, a quintuple threat if … Continue reading

8th Anniversary Of Our Final Goodbye

Share When you lose a child, you not only have the day that they passed to get through, you then have the day of their service, or as we called it, the FUNeral service to get through year after year.  And for us, that was our final goodbye to Andrew’s physical presence, the last time I would ever see my beautiful boy physically again this lifetime. Grief, the gift that just keeps on effin giving! Even 8 years later. I usually have more pictures of every International It’s All Good Day! celebration, but this year I didn’t get any and … Continue reading

On the Issue of Cancer

ShareHere I sit, doing busy things, some paying off, and some I wish I hadn’t started, healing from cancer. I am isolated from some of the people I love and admire most in my life. Yes I am dealing with f**king cancer again. The first time it wasn’t me personally, but my son, Andrew, and it took his life at 16 back in October 2007. Then I realize that it is OK to be angry and to let it get you down periodically, because honesty with self is all part of that great healing process that everybody talks about, and … Continue reading

My Sweet Lady (PrettyMama)

Share It was a few days after Andrew’s birthday in May when I had been wondering what direction I should put my energy and goals. I was beginning to wonder if I would ever work with Andrew/PureHeart and Martin again. I mean we haven’t done an event since October 2014. Martin is going to be gone until at least October of this year, possibly longer with his cancer treatment in N Ireland. As time goes on, this bigger picture I thought I was seeing after Andrew left keeps getting smaller and smaller with every Muggle job I have to take to … Continue reading

DIVA-LICIOUS

Share* Grabs mic and gets on soap-box – “Is this thing on?” *   People have said that I am a Diva. Well if Diva means still standing after nearly losing your 25 year old daughter after emergency surgery on a rare ovarian tumor that they wanted to treat as an aggressive form of ovarian cancer. Then going right into a Leukemia diagnosis with your 16 year old son, then losing him 4 months later. Then suddenly being thrown into menopause at 47 year old so you don’t have a major physical meltdown from all the trauma in the past year. Then … Continue reading
