It’s one of those nights. Here’s one of the songs we played at Andrew’s ceremony in Laguna. It’s a Mariah Carey song sung by David Cook, the winner of the last American Idol. David sung this in such a haunting way. The line that hooked me was “Now you want to be free, so I’m letting you fly…This song is my way of letting Andrew know I understand he had to go but our love will never die. I know this song is about a romantic love, but mothers always fall in love with their babies.
